EARLY 2020

Early 2020 brought me back around to performance work. I was given the opportunity to perform the one hour, interactive piece, Longing, at the "My Queer Valentine" exhibition at the Target Gallery. There have been many concepts for performance that I have been working through along themes of connection, divine and personal identity, and gender presentation. 

I also started to dive into a wide range of alternative materials and processes that I hadn't explored in years including prints and fabric work. My first finished fabric piece hanky code (lovefist) was the beginning of an exploration of gay male cruising and hanky code history as a form of connection and expression of desire.
